The men and staff of Mariners Inn will be joined by members of the Rotary Club of Grosse Point to participate in a beautification project to clean up and enhance the external grounds of the nonprofit social service agency based in Detroit’s Cass Corridor.

The Rotary Club of Grosse Pointe awarded Mariners Inn a $3,500 beautification grant to assist with cleaning up the grounds of the Detroit homeless shelter. The project will beautify the external grounds of Mariners Inn to provide an inviting and comfortable physical environment for residents and visitors in a setting conducive to recovery.
Founded in 1925 by the Episcopal Diocese of Michigan, Mariners Inn is a nonprofit homeless shelter and substance abuse treatment center dedicated to helping men who want to be free of addiction achieve a life filled with dignity and purpose.
